Sales Terms & Conditions
Accessory Returns
Accessories must be returned within 14 days of purchase in their original packaging and condition, accompanied by the original receipt.
Device Returns
Devices may be returned within 14 days of purchase. All device returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Non-Refundable Items
Special order accessories and devices are non-refundable under any circumstance.
Repair Intake Terms
Bench Fee
A non-refundable diagnostic/bench fee of $50 will be charged for all attempted repairs, regardless of outcome.
Data Disclaimer
VitalTech Repairs is not liable for any data loss during repair services. Customers are solely responsible for backing up their data. Backup services are available for an additional fee upon request.
Liquid Damage Repairs
Devices with liquid damage are accepted strictly on a data-recovery basis. No warranties or refunds apply if the device fails after repair.
Unclaimed Devices
Devices left unclaimed for more than 45 days after diagnosis may be considered abandoned. Customers will be notified during this period, after which the device may be recycled or disposed of at our discretion.
Repair Outtake Terms
Repair Completion
The repair has been completed in a professional and workmanlike manner as requested by the customer.
Post-Repair Issues
Any issues resulting from the repair must be reported within 14 days of pickup. If reported within this period, VitalTech Repairs will address and resolve any issue caused by our repair process.
Warranty Scope
Only the specific replaced parts are covered by our warranty. The entire device is not covered.
Liability Release
By accepting and paying for the repaired device, the customer confirms the device is in their possession and releases VitalTech Repairs and its employees from any further liability related to the service provided.
Warranty Information
Accessories
Warranty coverage for accessories is subject to the manufacturer's policy.
Device Warranties
Refurbished devices include a 1-year limited warranty. New devices include a 1-year limited warranty.
Repair Warranties
Replaced parts include a 1-year limited warranty. Soldering repairs are covered under a 1-year limited warranty. Software services (e.g., optimization, virus removal, data recovery) are provided as-is with no warranty.
Warranty Exclusions
Physical damage (e.g., cracks, dents, water exposure, power surges) voids all warranties. Third-party repairs or unauthorized tampering void any warranty provided by VitalTech Repairs.
DisplayShield Coverage
What Is DisplayShield?
DisplayShield is our exclusive screen protection program. If your screen breaks again within 1 year of our repair, we'll re-repair it absolutely free. No deductibles, no shipping, no hassle.
Covered Devices
DisplayShield covers all phone and tablet screen repairs we perform, as well as all refurbished phones and tablets we sell. Coverage begins immediately upon completion of repair or purchase.
What's Covered
Accidental screen damage including cracked screens, shattered glass, broken displays, and touch screen issues resulting from damage are all covered under DisplayShield.
Exclusions
DisplayShield does not cover devices with major frame damage such as bent or warped frames, or devices with significant chunks missing from the back glass. These conditions indicate structural damage beyond normal screen breakage.
How to Use
Simply bring your device back to our store within 1 year of the original repair or purchase. No phone calls, no online claims, no shipping required. We'll re-repair your screen on the spot.
Limitation of Liability
VitalTech Repairs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of use, or any costs arising from service failure or product malfunction.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to our services shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the service or product in question.
Consent and Acknowledgment
Device Drop-off
By dropping off their device for service, the customer acknowledges they are the owner or authorized representative of the device, and confirms they have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Device Pickup
By paying for and taking possession of the device, the customer confirms the repair has been completed to their satisfaction, acknowledges that the device is now in their possession, and accepts and agrees to all terms stated herein, including limitations of liability and applicable warranties.
